On this episode, Ann Baldwin, PhD, discusses her new book: Reiki in Clinical Practice, A Science Based Guide. This is the first book to indicate the effectiveness of Reiki in alleviating a range of specific diseases and disorders based on published, peer-reviewed scientific data.

Ann Linda Baldwin, PhD, is a Professor of Physiology at the University of Arizona and Director of Mind-Body-Science. She is also a Reiki Master and has practiced Reiki on people and animals for the last 20 years. Her degrees are BSc in Physics, University of Bristol UK, MSc in Radiation Physics, and PhD in Physiology, University of London, UK. Ann focuses on reducing the damaging effects of stress using Biofeedback, Reiki, Trauma Release Exercises, and Equine Facilitated Learning. She has published over 120 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and one book, “Reiki in Clinical Practice. A Science Based Guide”, Handspring Publishing (ISBN13:978-1-912085-36-1). The book can be obtained from the ICRT store or from Handspring Publishing. Ann has received 30 years of funding from federal institutions and has served on review panels for the National Institutes of Health. With her Reiki training and scientific background, Ann bridges the gap between energy healing and quantitative scientific inquiry. In her spare time, Ann rides her horse and is a horse handler for Therapeutic Riding of Tucson.

Graciela Teofield has done many things throughout her life. Most have been leaning towards health, wellness, education, and spirituality. God has led her on a beautiful journey, thus far, and today, her passion continues with using multiple modalities for health, wellness, and excellence through energy healing and vibrational sound therapies. Graciela has found that by using vibrational sound therapy with the Himalayan hand hammered bowls and various styles of singing bowls, she is able to resurrect ancient teachings of vibrational sound to enhance the removal of toxins and blockages, provide deep levels of relaxation, improved sleep, pain reduction, and the clearing of negative energy and emotion. Graciela is a Reiki Master, a Medical Reiki Master through Raven Keyes, a Vibrational Sound Therapist - VSTCLP with Vibrational Sound Association, a Yomassge - Energy Practitioner as well as earning a M.S. degree in Education.

Marleen Duffy is a Certified Medical Reiki Master and a Reiki/Seichem Master. She is also a qualified Aura-Soma practitioner and a Light on the Pathways practitioner. She has studied many other healing modalities including Advanced Crystal Training, Feng Shui, Psychic Development, Mediumship, and many more. She believes knowledge is key to understanding life and all of these courses along with their practical application in her holistic therapy centre have helped her to understand the world of energy in a much more rounded way. However, Reiki will always be the central pillar underpinning all of Marleen's' healing work.

She works in Sligo, Ireland, where she owns and runs Angel and Gift World, an angel shop and holistic centre, and Medical Reiki Ireland which she set up after training with Raven Keyes Medical Reiki International. Rev.
